Bologna. Walking on Via Lame, near the intersection with Via Riva di Reno, the Bertino restaurant windows are arousing curiosity where they alternate long rows of cups of “Zuppa Inglese” and trays of tagliatele and tortellini that invite passers-by to enter. The sign and the entrance taste homely and genuine and the interior does not disappoint the expectations. The menu is strictly traditional. Pasta pulled by hand form sfogline, lasagne, tortellini, tagliatelle with meat sauce. But the main course of Da Bertino becomes boiled: tongue, veal head, beef, zampone and cotechino, accompanied by stewed beans, mashed potatoes and onions. And finally, the famous zuppa inglese.
